A Craftsman by Birth born in East Khasi Hills, Meghalaya started working at various NGOs to trained people to ‘Self Help & Women Empowerment’. Later started working as an intern with Ar. Nisha Mathew for product designing firm ‘Eleatz’, and worked as a master craftsman for 2.5 years till 2009, as an enthusiastic employee that inspired me to learn more towards design approach. Later I finished my Diploma in Interior Design from IIFT Surat Centre in 2012. And then I have started working with Parekh Collaborative ever since.
The reason why I find the design very fascinating through my experiences of work at handicraft in a very deep detail and passion to create the pattern of handicraft at home with my mother. Our cultures and way of life, to combine the traditional knowledge and the new technologies, and mainly the poetic inspiration, make me enjoy this working environment.
I see myself as someone essentially perseverant, who like to discover. An amateur photographer, innovator, and the process initiator are some characteristics that I have developed during my journey toward my career.
