The Rambaugh residence has chosen an understated visual appeal yet made a profound statement with an intricate stone facade with a dash of wood in design. This theme is evident throughout the residence giving it an earthy aftertaste of the context it is bound with.
Crimson looking fenestration made of sandstone jali operates like window shutters adding an element of surprise also giving it a parametric feel. The central living block’s facade is treated with jaali on the west while the rest of the house operates with openings in the north-south direction.
Hence, a textured crimson block abutting white mass on the side adds to iconic imagery of the house in abstraction. The house is picturesque from all the sides because of ample appreciation space around it within the site. This space is well designed with landscape elements and complements the house exteriors.
